Great article and topical comparison, I’m also looking to upgrade from a 400d to a 50d and shoot sport photography quite often indoors in poor light.

hi this it a great site. its exactly what i’ve been lookin 4. i have a 400D and im lookin 2 upgrade 2 a 50D. am i crazy in thinking that the 400D has less noise than the 50D in the 100 ISO photos???

Thank you so much!! This is just what I’ve been looking for. I’ve just purchased 50D upgrading from XTi and was not sure if it was a good decision. Now I can’t wait to get it tomorrow and then test it right away at my son’s performance in a school program tomorrow evening.
